Apple Crisp Art
4 cups mixed apple slices*
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oats
1/3 cup butter
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
*Use an apple corer and then cut slices in half or as thin as you desire. I used a variety of sweet and sour apples (Gala and Granny Smith)
I bake these ingredients (mixed and distributed evenly over peeled or unpeeled apples in a greased baking dish) at 350-400 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown :) I got pictures before this batch quickly vanished…
Awesome Tip: This time I added some granola to the topping before baking, it contained yummy bits of dried berries. In the summertime I love adding fresh berries. My favorite combination is apple-raspberry crisp. I will have to make and photograph that when raspberries are in season it is delicious and beautiful! I nicknamed it “pink apple-berry crisp” and I ate it all in one day! :) Me, personally, devoured an entire pan of apple crisp!!
