btw who is doing anything for new years?
i plan to get jolly good high since my resolute resolution is to stick it to the man and obstain from alche-holical beverages all but a handful of days out of the year. i don’t think new years eve qualifies as a good enough day to drink, there is a new year every year… god, someone is desperate for attention…

i won’t murder you in most painful ways if you attend… THE CAUCUSES IN JANUARY… most specifically the democratical ones (them is best) and especially if yous is gonna choose OBAMA…

yay a new year… time to revisit the lameness of me… from last year!

here were my 2006 new year resolutions:

#1 be wonderfully social and attractive to all people [i guess this happened once or twice hehe]

#2 fit into sexy skinny pants, buy new sexier skinnier pants and repeat! [erm, no]

#3 attend iowa university in the fall [wtf lol]

#4 find a roomate in iowa city, hopefully sami [i got a roomie here! her name is EMILAY]

#5 be skankier to get boyfriend, i mean a really good one! [IT WORKED!]

#6 attempt to reconcile differences with he-who-must-not-be-named

#7 if that doesn’t work slap him in the face or preferably throw a glass of wine in his face and call him a whore in a public place and leave him there to feel like an ass or send him to a farm so he can pull the buggy GETTY UP!!! [yeah, this happened lol] … well i mean he IS a whore…

ok i’m done with the mean ones

#8 cept one more… i must tip at least one cow, this however is a life goal, not just a new year’s resolution

#9 not date any of the following; thane, reggie, billy, brent, a.j., or robert (but i can still sleep with robert) [HAHA] I never slept with Robert… Happy Chef Whore lol

#10 find a better everything – cuz i deserve it *cheesy thumbs up* [cheesier thumbs up and high five!]

#11 get rid of all things that annoy or hurt me… yes even my mother [i will do better this year]

#12 become friends with jens and not let him hurt me anymore, end things on my terms [resolution accomplished! now bf's!]

#13 and i would also like to get straight A’s this semester i was one off last time dang it!! [yay did it spring 2006 semester, was one off again this time, fuckers lol]

my last resolution is actually a wish;

#14 i will forever remember that i am mandy and that will always be enough. [aww]

kay. Now for this years resolutions:

#1 get that ring!

#2 straight A’s!

#3 read the new books i’ve been buying

#4 learn to make sushi like a pro

#5 feel comfortable in my body, hopefully that will happen if i lose about 10-15 pounds…

#6 get a record player and listen to all of the stripes i have!

#7 stop letting my mom use me and my family upset me

#8 kiss zachary at midnight ;P this is one i know i can achieve!

anyway it’s been an ok year, i’m not going to lie some of it sucked but… i am grateful for everything that happened and everyone in my life.
