The above image features a place that is near and dear to me. I adore abandoned things. I feel a longing to be around and photograph lost items and forgotten landmarks. The above words always find their way into my mind, especially the last line, here at the end of all things.
I feel sad when I fall asleep half-way through a movie only to wake for the last few frames. It feels like something has left, gotten up while you weren’t paying attention and walked out the door.
Death is frightening because it is unknown to us. We don’t get to choose our own endings, we can only fill the pages we’re given.
